John Travolta went viral again at the MTV VMAs after he mistook a drag queen for Taylor Swift. And Taylor simply apparently ended up laughing with everyone else about the mixup.
‘No harm, no foul?’ Todrick Hall mentioned on Taylor’s reaction for mistaking her for Drag Race star Jade Jolie on Monday, August 26th.
The 29-year-old singer was awarded as the winner of the Video of the Year award for “You Need to Calm Down”. The song was released on June 14th, 2019 as the second single from her new album “Lover”. In her video Swift addresses homophobia and her critics in her song.
‘He was so confident that it was her,’ Hall added. ‘I loved it! I saw it, and we talked about it backstage. Taylor thought it was hilarious.’
Travolta issued an apology after the event and said ‘I’ve been beating myself up all day,’ ‘What would Idina Menzel say?’ She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’
